They waited for letters in the mail instead of instant messages. They watched shows on a weekly basis instead of binge-watching a whole season at once. And if they wanted to cook a meal, they couldn’t just order takeout – they had to prepare and cook it from scratch.
Boomers know the value of patience and the joy of anticipation, something that’s lost on many of us in today’s fast-paced world. It’s a quality that not only shows their toughness but also their resilience.
